Clark James has brought his talents to many of Hollywood's biggest blockbuster films, television shows and live stage productions over the past 35 years. His special effects expertise includes miniature special effects, pyrotechnics, dynamic rigging, and interaction with visual effects processes. Also a skilled magician, Clark approaches special effects with a keen attention to details that help sell the overall effect. Vital to his success is his ability to comprehensively organize multiple and complex projects, and deliver on time, safely.
In 2013, Clark was elected to the executive board of the Alliance of Special Effects and Pyrotechnic Operators (ASEPO) who fosters and promotes safe industry practices, and advocates with government regulatory agencies and committees on behalf of its members and industry. He sits on the Entertainment Services and Technology Association (ESTA) Fog & Smoke Working Group, and on the California State Fire Marshal's Special Effects Advisory Committee (SEAC).
