Clark James has shared his talents with many of Hollywood's biggest blockbuster films, television shows and live stage productions over the past 35 years. His special effects expertise includes miniature special effects, pyrotechnics, dynamic rigging, mechanical design, and interaction with visual effects processes. Key to his success has been his ability to comprehensively organize multiple and complex projects, and deliver on time, safely.
In 2013, Clark was elected as an executive officer of the Alliance of Special Effects and Pyrotechnic Operators (ASEPO) who fosters safe industry practices and advocates with government regulatory agencies and committees on behalf of its members and industry. He sits on the ESTA Fog & Smoke Working Group developing industry ANSI standards, was elected to the CSATF Special Effects Qualifications Committee, and appointed by the California State Fire Marshal to CalFire's Special Effects Advisory Committee (SEAC).
